Digital Moscow Takes Center Stage at GITEX Asia 2025 in Singapore

SINGAPORE / MOSCOW, April 2025 — A Moscow delegation led by Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow, successfully showcased the capital’s digital projects and technological achievements at the inaugural international exhibition GITEX Asia 2025 in Singapore.

Held from April 23 to 25 at the Marina Bay Sands Exhibition Centre, GITEX Asia marked the Asian debut of one of the world’s largest high-tech event brands, Gitex Global. The exhibition gathered more than 700 companies from 60 countries, including over 400 technology firms and 250 investment organizations.

At the Moscow’s stand, key technology companies and scientific-educational institutions from the capital were presented. The exposition covered a wide range of solutions — from video analytics and AI systems to digital platforms and urban security technologies. Among the participants were the Russian software developer KeySystems; facial recognition and video analytics company VisionLabs; urban environment monitoring solutions provider Fivegen; secure communication systems manufacturer IVA Technologies; and Reputation House / Sidorin Lab, specializing in digital PR and reputation management. The engineering sector was represented by the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI), a leading Russian university implementing major interdisciplinary projects.

The first day of the exhibition featured a dynamic business agenda. The Moscow stand hosted a series of bilateral meetings and negotiations. Sergey Cheremin held talks with Trixie LohMirmand, Executive Vice President of Event Management at the Dubai World Trade Centre, and Bilal Al Rais, Vice President of the Technology and Digital Cluster. The discussions focused on potential areas for expanding cooperation, including Moscow’s participation in Gitex Global in Dubai (UAE) in October 2025.
The Minister delivered a keynote address titled “Smart and Sustainable Moscow” at the Russia–Singapore Business Dialogue. In his speech, he shared Moscow’s experience in using digital technologies to improve quality of life and enhance megacity management.

“We closely follow the development of low-altitude economy, including unmanned aerial solutions and new formats of urban logistics. Moscow is currently implementing an ecosystem for testing and deploying unmanned transport. We view this as a key element of future urban mobility — more efficient, environmentally friendly, and accessible. International cooperation in this area is particularly valuable: sharing expertise, launching joint pilot projects, and developing unified standards are all essential for shaping a global technological landscape,” emphasized Sergey Cheremin.
The Minister also took part in the thematic session “Building the City of 2035,” where he presented Moscow’s long-term strategies in infrastructure, digitalization, and sustainable urban development to an international audience.

The exhibition served as a vital platform for establishing business connections, promoting Moscow’s technologies in the international arena, and strengthening ties with public and private institutions across Southeast Asia. Singapore is a key regional partner for Moscow, and GITEX Asia opens new opportunities for technology exchange, joint development, and access to rapidly growing markets.

Moscow’s participation in GITEX Asia Singapore 2025 highlighted the global competitiveness of the capital’s smart city solutions and laid the groundwork for new international projects in AI, digital security, sustainability, and urban logistics.
