Moscow to Host the 14th India-Russia Business Dialogue
The XIV India-Russia Business Dialogue will take place on December 19, 2023, at the International Multimedia Press Center of Rossiya Segodnya in Moscow. The forum is organized by the Indian Business Alliance (IBA) with the support of the Business Council for Cooperation with India (BCCI), the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow, the Roscongress Foundation, and with media support from RIA Novosti.
The event will bring together business representatives, heads of federal ministries, agencies, and regional authorities of the Russian Federation, as well as development institutions and public organizations. The centerpiece will be a plenary session focusing on the current state and prospects of bilateral trade and investment growth between India and Russia.
“Today, as the global political landscape undergoes continuous transformation, cooperation between Russia and India continues to grow steadily, with increasing engagement. Russia and India are nations of significant influence and immense potential, united by shared goals and aspirations. They remain reliable partners, collaborating across various fields, including transport infrastructure development, sustainable urbanization, engineering, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, metallurgy, digital technologies, energy, finance, trade, and many others. For 14 years, this forum has served as a platform for constructive dialogue and problem-solving in bilateral cooperation,” said Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations.
The forum will feature discussions on various tracks, including financial cooperation, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, innovation and entrepreneurship support, trade and logistics, tourism and cultural ties, digital transformation, and e-commerce. Strengthening business collaboration in energy, technology, manufacturing, and agriculture will also be addressed.
The event will provide a platform for in-depth discussions on expanding business ties between Russia and India across multiple sectors. Approximately 600 in-person attendees and 20-25 speakers are expected to participate.
