Moscow Days to Take Place in Oman

From November 11 to 13, 2025, Moscow Days will be held in Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman. The event is organized by the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow.

The program of Moscow Days in Oman will combine cultural and business events aimed at strengthening partnerships, developing bilateral ties, and promoting international initiatives of the Russian capital.

A special place in the program belongs to the cultural segment, which reflects Moscow’s rich creative heritage and showcases its contemporary cultural diversity. On November 12, a concert will be given by People’s Artist of Russia, singer and composer Dmitry Malikov, who will present his famous program PianomaniYa — a synthesis of classical music, original compositions, and modern visual effects. Another highlight of the cultural program will be a performance by the renowned composer and virtuoso violinist Edvin Marton, an Emmy award winner and author of musical works that have been heard on the world’s biggest stages.

On November 13, as part of Moscow Days in Oman, the Russia‑Oman Business Forum will take place, timed to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The forum is organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow. The delegation of Moscow, led by Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Government of Moscow and Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow, will take part in the forum. The minister will speak at the panel discussion “Russia‑Oman: Unlocking the Potential of Trade, Economic and Investment Cooperation.” In his remarks, Sergey Cheremin will address key aspects of interaction between Moscow and Oman, including opportunities created for Moscow businesses by the Sultanate’s favorable investment climate, as well as ways to expand tourism and humanitarian exchanges. The Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow will also pay special attention to the implementation of joint projects and the strengthening of interregional ties, which are becoming one of the most important tools for practical cooperation between the two countries.

In addition, Sergey Cheremin will moderate the business dialogue “Moscow‑Oman: Digital Transformation of Cities and New Horizons of Technological Partnership,” which will focus on exchanging experience in implementing digital solutions in urban governance, developing smart infrastructure, and deploying innovative technologies for the sustainable development of megacities.

On the sidelines of the forum, a business contact exchange will take place, along with specialized B2B, B2G, and G2G meetings aimed at developing cooperation between Russian and Omani companies and implementing joint initiatives in various sectors. Participants of the business mission will have the opportunity to visit industrial sites where prospects for Russian‑Omani trade and investment cooperation will be presented.
