XVI Russian‑Indian Business Dialogue to Take Place in Moscow
On December 16, 2025, the XVI Russian‑Indian Business Dialogue will be held in Moscow at the International Multimedia Press Centre. The event, organized by the Indian Business Alliance (IBA), the Business Council for Cooperation with India, the Government of Moscow, and the Roscongress Foundation, is intended to become a key practical platform for the development of bilateral economic cooperation.
The dialogue follows the recent high‑level summit between President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi. The main objective of the forum is to translate the political agreements reached into concrete business projects and initiatives.
The central event of the business program will be the plenary session “Strengthening the Strategic Partnership between Russia and India in a Changing World Order.” The discussion will involve Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations, and Chairman of the Business Council for Cooperation with India; Dmitry Volvach, Head of the Federal Accreditation Service (Rosakkreditatsiya); Alexander Shokhin, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP); Boris Titov, Presidential Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights; and Dmitry Kiselev, Director General of the Rossiya Segodnya news agency. The discussion will focus on strategic dialogue, trade mechanisms, logistics resilience, technological partnership, and interregional cooperation.
In the afternoon, five thematic sessions will be held on key aspects of cooperation. Participants will discuss logistics, manufacturing and industrial localization, including the development of the North‑South transport corridor and joint production facilities. Special attention will be given to trade, banking, and financial operations, including mechanisms for settlements in national currencies. Experts will examine legal, tax, and regulatory aspects of doing business, issues of human capital development, migration policy, educational partnerships, as well as prospects for cooperation in technology, energy, pharmaceuticals, and innovative industries.
The forum will bring together representatives of government authorities, heads of major companies, investors, and industry experts. The dialogue is expected to produce concrete solutions in industrial cooperation, financial instruments, the creation of investment platforms, and technological alliances capable of ensuring long‑term, sustainable growth of Russian‑Indian economic ties.
