Moscow Hosts Meeting between Representatives of the Government of Moscow and Delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan
On May 19, 2026, a working meeting between representatives of the Government of Moscow and a delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan, led by Kuanyshbek Bakytbekovich Yesekeyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took place at the Moscow City Situational Center. The meeting focused on exchanging experience in digitalizing urban services, transport development, and implementing the “Smart City” concept.
Olga Zhilina, Deputy Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow, presented the capital’s approaches to building a sustainable and intelligent urban environment in her report “Moscow – A Smart and Sustainable City.”
Dmitry Kuznetsov, Head of the International Cooperation Development Office of the Department of Information Technologies, spoke about the digital ecosystem of Moscow’s Smart City. Evgeny Nikitich Zolotarev, Project Manager of the Digital Tools and Content Division in Urban Planning at the Moscow Department of Information Technologies, presented the functionality of the capital’s digital twin.
Olga Pishchikova, Head of the International Relations Centre of the Transport Complex, and Mstislav Isakov, Advisor to the General Director of the Road Traffic Management Centre, highlighted current directions in Moscow’s transport development and the activities of the Road Traffic Management Centre.
Following the presentations, a question‑and‑answer session took place, during which the Kazakh delegation showed strong interest in the digital solutions and transport services implemented in Moscow. Both sides emphasized the importance of further bilateral cooperation and the exchange of expertise in urban governance.
