Moscow Showcases Technological Potential at INNOPROM. India 2026
From September 9 to 11, 2026, the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM. India took place in New Delhi, with the Government of Moscow taking part. The capital presented an exposition showcasing the achievements of Moscow enterprises and modern digital solutions that shape the metropolis’s technological ecosystem. The exposition reflected the integration of high-tech manufacturing and digital tools for city management. The program was organized by the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow with support from the autonomous non-profit organization Moscow Center for International Cooperation.
The stand featured developments in robotics and automation, industrial diagnostics systems, microelectronics, medical equipment and sterilization technologies, as well as solutions for transport and urban infrastructure. Considerable attention was given to Moscow’s digital products. The Department of Information Technology presented the Digital Twin of Moscow — a 3D model of the city used for planning and managing territorial development — as well as artificial intelligence initiatives and the unified MosTech technological platform. Leading Moscow companies working in industry, IT, and transport demonstrated their solutions.
The Moscow stand was visited by Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry of India. The capital’s industrial and technological potential was presented by Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Government of Moscow and Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow. During the presentation, he focused in detail on the use of artificial intelligence in city management and emphasized the importance of the Digital Twin of Moscow as a tool for the comprehensive development of the metropolis.
Kishan Reddy, Minister of Coal and Mines of India, also visited the Moscow stand, where the capital’s industrial potential was demonstrated to him.
On September 10, a plenary session, “Strengthening Russian-Indian Trade and Industrial Partnership – Toward Self-Sufficient Cooperation,” was held, with Anton Alikhanov and Piyush Goyal taking part. Participants discussed prospects for growing bilateral trade, including the target of increasing turnover to $100 billion by 2030, as well as developing cooperation in aviation, energy, and pharmaceuticals.
Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Government of Moscow and Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow, took part in the BRICS Business Forum held at Bharat Mandapam as part of the 18th BRICS Summit. The forum brought together high-ranking representatives of government authorities, leading business associations, financial institutions, and technology companies from BRICS member states.
As part of the business program, representatives of the Government of Moscow took part in a session held by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Synergia Foundation, “Seamless Digital Sky: A New Strategic Atmosphere,” where prospects for joint projects in the space and technology sectors were discussed. Dmitry Ontoev, advisor to the head of the Moscow Department of Information Technology, took part in the session.
On September 10, Cheremin held a meeting with Vivek Pandey, Head of the Urban Development Department of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. During the meeting, key areas of Moscow’s development were presented, including digital solutions such as the Digital Twin of Moscow. The sides also discussed developing cooperation and preparations for signing a Cooperation Program between the Government of Moscow and the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
Moscow’s participation in INNOPROM. India confirmed strong interest from international partners in the capital’s technological and management solutions and helped advance practical cooperation with India.
