Award Ceremony for the 8th International Cooperation and Foreign Economic Development Prize

On June 20, 2025, a solemn ceremony was held at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum to present the VIII International Cooperation and Foreign Economic Development Prize. This prestigious award recognizes outstanding contributions to strengthening international ties and expanding opportunities for business collaboration.

In his address to the laureates, Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations, emphasized the importance of international cooperation for sustainable development and prosperity. He noted that the Prize not only acknowledges achievements but also serves as motivation to further enhance foreign economic relations.

Established eight years ago, the Prize was first awarded at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and has since become a landmark event, bringing together representatives from business, government, and international organizations. Its mission is to promote the most significant initiatives and projects in the field of international cooperation.

The laureates of the VIII International Cooperation and Foreign Economic Development Prize are:

• Tazio Schilling, Director General of the Association of European Businesses – for preserving and fostering foreign economic relations with reputable international companies operating in the capital region;
• Jorgea Abdulla Al-Zraykat, Chairman of the Bahrain Friendship Committee – for advancing Bahraini-Russian relations and supporting economic initiatives;
• Olga Kolomeytseva, Regional Director for Russia and CIS at AIM Global Foundation – for patriotic commitment, international cooperation, and promoting Moscow on the global stage;
• Alexandra Yakovenko, Deputy Director General of Rossiya Segodnya Media Group – for contributions to international diplomacy, advocating Russia’s interests worldwide, and actively shaping the global agenda;
• Dmitry Volvach, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation – for promoting Moscow internationally;
• Alexey Gruzdev, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation – for comprehensive support of Moscow Government initiatives;
• Ivan Nosov, Managing Director of Sberbank’s Branch in the Republic of India – for advancing international banking relations.

The award ceremony took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, uniting individuals dedicated to fostering international cooperation and foreign economic development for the benefit of all nations and peoples.
