Become Part of the Project “Voices of Victory”
The Victory Museum invites everyone to take part in the project “Voices of Victory” – an initiative aimed at preserving the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War. Launched in December 2024, the project unites compatriots in Russia and abroad, historians, museum workers, and all those who cherish the legacy of the multinational Soviet people’s feat.
At the heart of the project are wartime letters preserved in family archives and museum collections. These documents reflect the personal experiences, hopes, and thoughts of those on the front lines. Through “Voices of Victory”, the letters come alive again, read aloud by descendants who safeguard this memory.
The project not only revives this epistolary heritage but also makes it accessible to a wide audience, reminding us of the human destinies shaped by the war. Each recorded letter becomes a testament to the unbroken spirit of its author and a reminder of the price of victory.
Participation is open to all. To join, one must register on the project’s official website, complete a short form, and upload materials – text of the letter, a photograph of it, and an audio recording of the reading.
“Voices of Victory” is a contribution to the preservation of historical memory, beginning with a simple yet vital act: giving voice to those whose words have reached us across the decades.
