Indian-Russian Business Forum Held in Moscow

The Indian-Russian Business Forum took place today at the Embassy of the Republic of India in Moscow. Delegations of Indian companies from various industries arrived in Moscow to participate in the event.

Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations, spoke at the forum’s plenary session. In his address, he highlighted the significant growth in Russia’s trade turnover with friendly nations, particularly with India.

“We are reliable partners collaborating across numerous sectors, including sustainable urban development, transportation infrastructure, mechanical engineering, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, metallurgy, digital technologies, energy, finance, trade, and many others,” Cheremin stated.

The minister also emphasized the readiness of Russian companies to establish joint ventures and technology parks to expand cooperation in pharmaceutical production, microelectronics, telecommunications equipment, medical devices, railway rolling stock, automotive manufacturing, and spare parts production.
