Moscow to Celebrate Venezuela’s Independence Day as Part of Latin American and Caribbean Culture Festival
On July 5, 2025, Moscow’s creative space “Basmanny Dvor” will host celebratory events marking the Independence Day of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. The festivities are organized as part of the Latin American and Caribbean Culture Festival.
Attendees can look forward to a rich cultural program featuring an open-air photo exhibition “The Wonders of Venezuela,” a masterclass on preparing Venezuelan chocolate from cocoa beans with tastings of both traditional and modern recipes, as well as presentations and tastings of national beverages including “Guayoyo” coffee and natural panela produced by Cafe Roraima.
The event will also include a masterclass on traditional Latin American dances, an evening dance program, and the presentation of an original mural created by a Venezuelan artist specifically for the occasion.
The Latin American and Caribbean Culture Festival officially opens on July 19 at Hermitage Garden and will run through July 27. The festival program includes concerts, national exhibitions, culinary presentations, film screenings, educational events and creative workshops aimed at promoting the cultural diversity of the region.
