The Government of Moscow to Participate in Smart Cities India Expo in New Delhi

From January 17 to 19, 2024, a delegation from the Government of Moscow will participate in the Smart Cities India Expo in New Delhi.

Moscow’s stand will showcase the latest achievements of its Smart City program, demonstrating how the Russian capital is advancing sustainable development goals and creating a comfortable urban environment.

Sergei Cheremin, Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations, and Chairman of the Business Council for Cooperation with India, will speak at the exhibition’s opening ceremony and participate in several sessions of the expo’s business program.

“We will present to our Indian partners Moscow’s cutting-edge digital solutions and successful Smart City initiatives, including our intelligent transport system, online government services, the Moscow Electronic School platform, and AI-powered urban management,” said Sergei Cheremin.

The Moscow delegation will also take part in a business forum on January 18, 2024, at The Leela Palace hotel, bringing together Russian and Indian companies specializing in information technology and urban infrastructure development.

The event is organized by the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in India, the Russian Trade Mission in India, the Business Council for Cooperation with India, and the Moscow Center for International Cooperation.
