Business Mission to Manila

As part of the visit of the Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow Sergei Cheremin to Manila in January 2023, several events were held – business forum «Moscow-Manila: Modern Vectors of Bilateral Cooperation» and official visits to the Baguio and to the Santa Rosa Technopark (Laguna).

During the event, participants of the Forum could personally communicate with high-rank officials – mayors, vice-mayors and representatives of city governments, presidents of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Industrial Association of the Philippines.

Russian delegation also met with cultural and business circles of the Philippines. The Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow Government, Sergei Cheremin, and the Mayor of Manila, Mrs. Hani Lacuna, signed a Program of cooperation between the two capitals for the period 2023-2025. In accordance with it, priority areas for interaction are designated: cleaning of urban areas, waste disposal, investments in housing and communal services, transport systems, health and social protection, environmental protection and the safety of life support systems of the city. The document also focuses on the fields of science, education, culture, sports and tourism, entrepreneurship, trade and services.
