Career school for young compatriots in Baku

A series of educational workshops, round tables, intellectual and business games for young compatriots from CIS countries, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia took place in the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan on November 25-29, 2023.

The Career School is one of the successful youth projects that the Moscow Government conducts within the framework of the Concept of Humanitarian Policy of the Russian Federation abroad.

Traditionally, the organizers were the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow, the Moscow Center for International Cooperation and the Moscow House of Compatriots. ANO “MCMS” acted as the operator of the event, providing technical and logistical support.

This year, 233 young Russian compatriots aged 18 to 35 from 43 countries of the world applied to participate in the Career School. According to the terms of the competitive selection, they prepared resumes and motivation letters in which they told why they deserve to participate in the project. The most convincing were 65 people from 24 countries. In addition, representatives of youth organizations of compatriots of Baku took part in the events.

At the master classes, the presenters and speakers shared with the participants relevant and useful information aimed at the formation and development of “soft skills”. They told the participants how to set goals, work in a team, communicate effectively, manage a team and solve problems in the modern world, how to effectively allocate their time to achieve maximum results, stand out from the crowd and create a vivid first impression.
