Days of Moscow was held in UAE

The Moscow Center for International Cooperation under the authority of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow Government organized a conference with an extensive demonstration of the main achievements of Moscow. It came as business part of the Days of Moscow in the United Arab Emirates, (2 – 10 December, 2021) the large-scale exposition of Moscow at EXPO 2020 in Dubai. The guests of the event were shown large-scale renovation projects, programs for the development of depressed industrial areas, transport and infrastructure projects, innovations in the IT sector, advanced initiatives in the provision of public services to the population, in the education system, as well as other successfully implemented urban projects.

The speakers of the business program of the conference were: Chairman of the Moscow Duma Aleksei Shaposhnikov, Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow Sergei Cheremin, CEO of Dubai Investment Development Agency Fahad Al Gergawi, President of the Annual Investment Meeting Daoud Al Shezawi and others.

During the conference representatives of the business community also discussed such topics as trade and economic cooperation between Moscow and Dubai, cooperation in the fields of innovation and creative industries, urban infrastructure and integrated development of territories.

In addition to the business program, a cultural one was also organized – a large-scale art festival with works of Russian contemporary artists, master classes and interactive with the guests of the event.
