Russia – India Business Forum Held in Moscow: Sides Confirm High Cooperation Dynamics
On August 20, 2025, the Russia – India Business Forum took place at the President‑Hotel, bringing together representatives of government authorities, business communities, and industry associations from both countries. The event was another step in developing bilateral relations between Moscow and Indian regions.
The forum opened with participant registration and a welcome coffee break, followed by a series of targeted B2B meetings between Russian and Indian companies to discuss projects in logistics, pharmaceuticals, digitalization, and energy. The central event of the program was the plenary session, held in the Round Hall, which brought together key representatives of business circles from both sides.
Speaking at the opening of the session, Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Government of Moscow and Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow, noted that the partnership between Russia and India has been developing particularly dynamically in recent years.
“During events held this year, we have paid special attention to prospects for cooperation in infrastructure modernization, transport and mechanical engineering, the large‑scale adoption of electric transport, the creation of startup incubators, as well as in robotics, pharmaceuticals, and medicine,” Sergey Cheremin emphasized.
Following the forum, both sides confirmed a high level of trust and expressed readiness to continue working on joint projects aimed at strengthening bilateral partnership.
