Visit of the Moscow Government delegation to Antalya

As part of the visit of the Moscow Government delegation to the Republic of Turkey on September 30 – October 6, 2023, the Moscow Center for International Cooperation organized a number of cultural and business events. ANO “MCIC” provided venues for meetings, technical equipment and the work of translators during the events.

The Russian delegation was headed by the Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow Sergey Cheremin. The delegation also included the President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry V.M. Platonov, representatives of the Moscow Government and the Prefecture of the Southern Administrative District, directors of a number of Moscow schools.

During the visit, negotiations were held with the Mayor of Antalya, Muhittin Bojack, with the participation of the Russian Consulate General in Antalya, as well as a business breakfast with representatives of the business community and the Industrial Association on the development of bilateral trade and economic ties.

The meetings discussed promising areas of cooperation between Moscow and Antalya: the development of transport and road transport infrastructure, innovative technology parks, smart city technologies, bilateral cooperation in the field of education. The partners agreed to organize events in the fields of culture and sports.

The Russian delegation visited the Traffic Management Center, a number of higher and secondary educational institutions, including Russian-speaking schools.

Following the visit, an agreement on cooperation between the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry was signed.

In addition to business meetings, a cultural program was organized. The ensemble of the folk song “Lyubo-Milo” performed for the participants.
