Moscow and Bishkek Sign Cooperation Agreement

On April 29, 2024, Bishkek City Hall hosted a meeting between Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliev and Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Moscow Government and Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow.

The meeting culminated in the signing of a Cooperation Program for 2024-2027 between Bishkek City Hall and the Government of Moscow.

The program focuses on developing bilateral ties across multiple sectors including trade and economic relations, road transport infrastructure, urban planning, municipal improvement projects, education and science, healthcare, culture and sports, as well as social welfare programs.

The parties also discussed plans for constructing a new building to house the Moscow Cultural and Business Center “The House of Moscow”.

Concluding the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
