Moscow Days to Take Place in the UAE

From December 11 to 12, Moscow Days will be held in Dubai — a series of events aimed at strengthening foreign economic and interregional ties between the Russian capital and the United Arab Emirates. The program has been prepared by the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow and the Moscow Centre for International Cooperation.

The central event will be the business forum “Moscow – Dubai: Cities of a Sustainable Future.” The plenary session will be moderated by Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Government of Moscow and Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations. Panelists will include representatives of international business associations, export agencies, and heads of high‑tech companies operating in information systems, artificial intelligence, computer vision, robotics, and digital platforms. The key theme of the forum will be promising vectors of interregional partnership. Participants will discuss practical measures to boost trade turnover and increase investment flows between Moscow and the Emirates. Special attention will be paid to deepening technological and economic cooperation, including joint projects in high‑tech sectors. Another important part of the dialogue will be the development of financial infrastructure to ensure the sustainability and efficiency of bilateral economic ties.

On December 12, a plenary session titled “Compatriots Today: Work, Tasks, Prospects” will take place, dedicated to Moscow’s role in supporting Russian compatriots abroad. The Head of DVMIS will take part in the session, and participants will discuss the development of multilateral interaction, support for cultural initiatives, strengthening humanitarian ties, and the formation of long‑term programs for working with the Russian diaspora.

The program will conclude with a gala concert featuring the Moscow Youth Chamber Orchestra under the direction of V.I. Vorona and the “Lyubo‑Milo” Russian folk song ensemble. The concert will be a significant cultural highlight of Moscow Days, emphasizing the importance of humanitarian cooperation.

During the Moscow delegation’s visit, Sergey Cheremin will take part in the plenary session of the 12th Meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian‑Emirati Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation. He will also participate in the plenary session of the Russian‑Emirati Business Forum “Architecture of Long‑Term Growth: New Horizons of Cooperation between Russia and the UAE.”

The Moscow Days in Dubai strengthen the partnership between the two megacities and contribute to the further development of joint economic, technological, cultural, and humanitarian initiatives.
