Moscow Hosts the First International Congress of Chefs and Restaurateurs, Moscow Food Fusion
On November 11–12, 2025, Moscow hosted the first Moscow Food Fusion — the first international congress of chefs and restaurateurs, organized by Chefs Team Russia, the All‑Russian Association of Professional Chefs and Pastry Chefs.
The event brought together more than 400 participants from 80 cities across Russia and CIS countries, as well as over 30 speakers, including 12 foreign chefs from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Serbia, Montenegro, France, and Italy. Many of them work in Michelin‑starred restaurants. For two days, Moscow became a key platform for professional dialogue and a hub of gastronomic exchange.
“Moscow Food Fusion has become an important gastronomic event, highlighting the significance of international and intercultural interaction among chefs. Such initiatives strengthen professional ties, expand cooperation horizons, and contribute to the development of gastronomic culture,” said Vyacheslav Manuilov, Deputy Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow.
The business program on the side stage featured leading industry representatives — prominent Russian restaurateurs, managers, and top executives from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, and Sochi.
Experts discussed current issues in the restaurant market, including tax legislation changes coming into force in 2026, restaurant management strategies in new economic conditions, as well as modern approaches to staff recruitment, retention, and motivation.
Participants gained practical tools in marketing, PR, and operational management to help adapt their businesses to current realities and improve the efficiency of their food service establishments.
Chefs Team Russia, the event organizer, is the largest professional association of chefs and pastry chefs in Russia. The association is dedicated to promoting gastronomic culture, developing professional standards, and supporting young talent in the industry.
