Moscow Showcases 12 Architectural Firms at Cityscape Global 2024 in Riyadh

Moscow presented a large-scale exhibition at Cityscape Global 2024, the world’s leading international architecture and real estate event, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 11 to 14. The city’s pavilion was organized by the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow and featured 12 prominent Moscow-based architectural firms.

Cityscape Global 2024 served as a platform for knowledge exchange, exploration of global trends in architecture, urban planning, and development, as well as the strengthening of international business ties. The exhibition brought together leading architects, developers, investors, and municipal representatives from around the world.

The official opening of the Moscow pavilion took place on November 11, with welcoming remarks delivered by Evgeny Dridze, Deputy Head of the Department. A key highlight of the pavilion’s launch was the discussion block “Magnet Cities: Innovative Infrastructure as a Driver for Investment and Talent.” Moscow’s exhibit attracted more than 400 international attendees, including top investors and developers, thanks to its showcase of advanced residential and commercial real estate projects.

“Moscow’s participation in Cityscape Global reaffirmed the city’s position as a leader in urban innovation. This event marked an important step in promoting Moscow’s brand as a hub for sustainable urban development. We are committed to continuing our collaboration with international partners to bring ambitious projects to life,” noted Evgeny Dridze.

Among the featured firms were the ATRIUM architecture studio, which presented several riverfront developments along the Moskva River, offering new solutions for modern residential and public spaces; and Megabudka, which unveiled hotel complex designs with a strong focus on green technologies and energy efficiency. Several other major architecture firms also took part in the exhibition.

The Moscow pavilion engaged actively with local authorities and international partners, positioning the city as an attractive destination for real estate investment and collaboration. Participation in Cityscape Global 2024 opened new opportunities for Moscow’s architectural studios. Looking ahead, the city’s architects plan to continue integrating innovation and expanding international cooperation, reinforcing Moscow’s standing as a global center of architectural excellence.
