Moscow Stand Opens at Smart Cities India Expo 2026
On March 23, the official opening of the Moscow city stand took place at the large‑scale Smart Cities India Expo 2026 in New Delhi. The Russian capital is participating in this prestigious international technology exhibition for the third time, consistently reaffirming its status as a global leader in urban digitalization.
The opening ceremony was attended by Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Government of Moscow and Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations. In his remarks, he paid special attention to the development of Russian‑Indian cooperation. Cheremin emphasized that the leadership of both countries has set a target of reaching $100 billion in bilateral trade turnover by 2030. Moscow, for its part, is actively contributing to this goal, acting as the main platform for developing business and technological ties between Russia and India.
During a tour of the booth, Sergey Cheremin introduced the key participants of the Moscow exposition – leading organizations working in high technology and urban innovation. These include SberCity, VisionLabs, Logos, Element Group, Basalt SPO, the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT), Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, and Oxygen Technologies Rus.
The capital’s stand showcases the latest developments from Russian companies. Visitors can explore modern solutions in digitalization, transport, ecology, and security – key areas that are shaping a comfortable and sustainable urban environment.
