The Days of United Arab Emirates Culture to Be Held in Moscow
From June 28 to July 2, Manezhnaya Square will host the Days of United Arab Emirates (UAE) Culture. Muscovites and visitors to the capital will have the opportunity to discover the country’s landmarks, traditional attire, and cuisine, learn henna painting techniques, and attend exhibitions of paintings and photographs.
The program has been prepared by the UAE Embassy in Moscow and the Moscow Government, forming part of a series of reciprocal cultural events held under bilateral cooperation.
In 2023 alone, Moscow welcomed over 42,000 visitors from the UAE—eight times more than the previous year. Travelers from the Emirates are drawn to Russia’s centuries-old culture, its abundance of parks and museums, as well as its diverse gastronomy, which blends cuisines from around the world.
Moscow is a key tourist destination not only in Russia but also on the international stage. In 2023, the city received 2.3 million foreign visitors, with the highest numbers coming from China, India, CIS countries, and the Middle East. To strengthen international ties, the city participates in major industry exhibitions, organizes business missions, and implements projects and events targeting both domestic and foreign audiences, including the Days of UAE Culture.
