The Moscow Days to Take Place in Vietnam
The Moscow Days will be held in Vietnam from November 30 to December 3, 2025. The events will take place in the cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The organizer is the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow. Cooperation between the Russian capital and Vietnam spans a wide range of sectors, including transport, information technology, healthcare, tourism, investment, and trade. At the end of 2024, mutual trade turnover increased by 27% compared to the same period last year, confirming the high potential of bilateral relations. The Moscow Days event will be an important step in further expanding interaction between Moscow and Vietnam.
The key events of the program will be business forums to be held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. They are timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Vietnam. The forums will be attended by Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Government of Moscow and Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow; Gennady Bezdetko, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Vietnam; as well as representatives of government authorities, agencies, and business communities from both countries. Sergey Cheremin will present Moscow’s experience as one of the world’s leading megacities, discuss sustainable development projects, digital transformation, and key initiatives of the Government of Moscow that affect all areas of urban life. The forum will address issues of interregional cooperation, best practice exchange, and projects in healthcare and social protection. Representatives of Moscow’s prefectures and relevant departments will present successful case studies, cutting‑edge digital solutions, and innovations in the capital’s economy, while representatives of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will share their own experiences in municipal governance.
Special attention at the forums will be paid to developing business, foreign economic, and investment cooperation. During a pitch session, Moscow companies will present their projects in areas such as aviation commerce, engineering systems for critical infrastructure facilities, and IT developments related to streaming and multimedia technologies. The business program will conclude with networking, allowing participants to make direct contacts and discuss the prospects for joint projects.
Moscow Days in Vietnam will be accompanied by a rich cultural program. The Moscow Cossack Choir — a laureate of prestigious festivals known for its vibrant interpretations of Russian folk songs — will perform in Hanoi. The artists will create an atmosphere of folk creativity and introduce the audience to the unique character of Cossack culture. Concerts by Moscow opera singers will take place at the Vietnam National Academy of Music and in Ho Chi Minh City, featuring works of Russian and world classical music. In addition to the concerts, Moscow has prepared photo exhibitions showcasing the capital as a modern metropolis, as well as exhibitions telling the story of the long‑standing friendship between Moscow, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City.
During the visit, members of the Moscow delegation will explore modern urban infrastructure facilities in Vietnam, hold meetings with government bodies responsible for social protection and employment, and discuss opportunities for implementing joint projects.
The Moscow Days in Vietnam will be a significant step in strengthening bilateral partnership, opening up new areas of cooperation in the economy, culture, and social spheres, as well as giving Moscow companies the opportunity to present their achievements and sign mutually beneficial agreements with Vietnamese partners.
